Recently the Coronavirus has been spreading rapidly in Pennsylvania. Cases have been going up by thousands daily! On Wednesday, November 25th, Governor Tom Wolf renewed the Proclamation of Disaster Emergency for PA.
“With cases and hospitalizations increasing, we cannot afford to let down our guard,” Wolf said in a press release Wednesday, “This renewal will allow the commonwealth to maintain its response and support efforts as we face increasing case numbers and decreasing hospital capacity.”
As of now there has been a total of 20 deaths and 2,078 cases in Fayette County. And a total of 357K and 10,319 deaths cases in PA.
Because Pennsylvania is facing predictions of 22,000 new COVID-19 cases per day by some point in December, Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine, announced a slew of tweaks to existing restrictions on Monday. Additionally, Wolf’s administration now recommends all Pennsylvanians not leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.
With everything going on we hope you’re all staying safe and wish the best of health for our readers. For more information on current Pennsylvania pandemic restrictions visit governor.pa.gov.
