Road To The Super Bowl

The road to the Super Bowl is here. We now know who will be fighting for the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the 56th time. The two teams are The Cincinnati Bengals and The Los Angeles Rams. The Super Bowl will be held on February 13, 2022 at 6:30 PM. This year The Super Bowl will be held at SoFi Stadium, the home field of The Los Angeles Rams.

The Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday were the underdogs in the AFC Championship Game. They came back from a 18 point difference from The Kansas City Chiefs. Joe Burrow, the QB for the Bengals had a great game on Sunday. He threw for 250 yards and had 2 touchdowns. Patrick Mahomes II, the QB for the Chiefs also had a great game, throwing for 275 yards with 3 touchdowns. Both teams did so well that the game went into overtime. However the Bengals would win when their kicker, Evan McPherson would kick a game winning field goal, to make the final score 27-24.

The Los Angeles Rams came out with the win over The San Francisco 49ers with a score of 20-17. This game was a really good game, it was back and forth all night. Going into Halftime, the score of the game would be 49ers 10 and the Rams 7. However in the fourth quarter, the Rams made a come back. The Rams would then tie it up and their kicker Matt Gay would kick a game winning field goal. Both QBs did play excellent though, the 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 232 yards with 2 touchdowns. However the Rams QB, Matthew Stafford did a lot better with 337 yards and 2 touchdowns.
