Senior Spotlight: Abigail Strauser

Activities: Cross country, Track, Swimming, PartnerUp, girl scouts, photography, bible club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, scholastic art and writing competition, Spanish club, church youth group, media internship

Future plans: Work at PNC bank for a few years before going to college.

Fun fact: I got my first camera when I was nine and I’ve loved photography ever since. I love taking pictures of people and moments and nature. I’ve also won 17 awards for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

Favorite quote: “Live in such a way that if someone spoke badly of you no one would believe them”
and “If they stand behind you, protect them. If they stand beside you, respect them. And if they stand against you, defeat them.

Advice to future seniors: “Make lots of memories and take lots of pictures of your favorite people, moments, and places.

Thoughts of senior year ending so abruptly: “I’m really disappointed that it ended so soon and we never got to say a proper goodbye to teachers and class mates. I’m really going to miss high school.”

Shout Outs & Thank Yous: I’d like to thank my family for all of their advice, guidance and support in anything I wanted to do. Also my coaches and teammates. They were my favorite part of high school. All the teachers that showed that they cared about their students.
