Senior Spotlight: Beka Rohlf

Activities: Marching band, concert band, and pep band

Future plans: I plan on attending California University of Pennsylvania for Veterinary Technology.

Fun fact: “I have been playing saxophone for 8 years.”

Favorite quote: “You know, who cares where happiness comes from? Look, we’re all a little weird, we’re all a little wacky – some more than others – but…if it works, it works.”

Advice to upcoming seniors: “Have fun and try new things. Your senior year is your last year of high school so make it count,”

Thoughts on senior year ending abruptly: I was kind of upset about it ending so soon. I miss my friends and the teachers. Although it ended soon, I am excited to start the next chapter of my life.

Shout outs/Thank Yous:

  • My family: Thank you for pushing me to do my best. You always helped me throughout my school years. Thank you for being supportive and pushing me to try new things.
  • My friends: Thank you for making school much better. You guys really helped me through school and made every day better.
  • Mr. Wilson: Thank you for letting me come to the band room all the time. Thank you for being one of the best band directors ever.
  • Saxophone Section: I was section leader of an amazing section for my senior year. Thank you for being the best section and always being there for me.
