Steelers Beat Seattle

Last Sunday 10/17 the Steelers played the Seattle Seahawks and ended up with a 23-20 win in overtime. The Steelers started off way better than the Seahawks and ended up with a 14-0 lead in the first half. With Russel Wilson out of the game they had Geno Smith starting and he started off slow but tied the game up 14-14. Then both sides took turns hitting field goals until the game was tied 20-20 and the end of regulation.

In overtime Seattle got the ball first, but we were able to hold them back out of field goal range due to a TJ Watt sack on 3rd down and they punted. We got the ball and also got stopped so we had to also punt the ball back. Then TJ also got a strip on Geno Smith during the last drive that was picked up by Devin Bush to seal the game. We sent the field goal unit out and won the game with a final field goal.

TJ Watt this year is putting up crazy stats and already has 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 7 tackles for loss, and 12 QB hits while only playing in 5 games missing a game and a half due to injuries. He is the leader of our defense and was robbed by not winning defensive player of the year last year showing he deserves it again this year.
