Summer Jobs for High School Students

Looking to make some extra cash this summer while you’re off school? Do you want to get out instead of spending a beautiful summer cooped up in your house? We have ideas for a perfect job for you!

1. Babysitter

2. Camp Counselor

If you like planning activities for younger kids, think about being a camp counselor. You get to spend time with kids, helping them have a fun summer, which could make your summer fun, too!

5. Tutor

Plus, tutoring can help keep what you learned in the past school year fresh in your mind so you don’t lose all the information you’ve retained over the summer.

6. Gold Caddy

If you like to spend time outside or if you like to golf, being a golf caddy could potentially be an enjoyable job for you.

7. Lifeguard

Lifeguarding is a great job for people who like to swim. You have to have a certification to lifeguard but there is a class offered right here at the high school you can take to be a certified lifeguard for next summer. Plus, you’ll probably get a nice tan while you’re outside!

8. Newspaper Deliverer

9. Dog Walker/Pet-sitter
