On September 25, 2021, Uniontown High School hosted a homecoming dance. It was held at the Uniontown Country Club. The dance started at 6:30 and ended at 10 o’clock. It was very organized and well done. There was a buffet of food items available. Many students danced and there was a big circle with people dancing in the middle. The attire varied from formal to more casual. It was a good experience, especially for the freshman that haven’t been to a high school dance yet.
It was a good time for all of the Uniontown students. It was a record crowd with a lot of people in attendance, including students from other schools. There were so many people that all the tables were filled and some people couldn’t even sit down. The next dance is the Snowball and is scheduled for December. They had a balcony open for people to sit on and relax with there friends. They played all kinds of variations of music like rap, hip hop, country, and etc.
There were no discipline problems like, fighting or arguing. Everybody was just having a good time, laughing and dancing with their friends. Students were happy to be back at a live event after many months of quarantine and cancellations.
