Uniontown Picks Up Their 2nd Win

The Red Raiders football team picked up their second win of the season. Uniontown beat Carrick 42-13 in their Friday afternoon matchup. I had a rushing touchdown along with Maurice Jackson and Braxton Swaney each with two rushing touchdowns. Devon Miles also added a touchdown on the kickoff taking it back 67 yards for the touchdown.

Uniontown improves to 2-3 on the year. Just under .500, Uniontown has been able to get their first two wins after 6 winless seasons. They have one possibly two games remaining, one against Laurel Highlands and another possibly against Yough High School.

Yough is still winless on the season and Laurel Highlands is 5-3 after their loss to McKeesport. If Uniontown could pick up two wins in their last games it would be the first winning season for the football team since 2009.
