Where Are They Now: David Eitner

David Eitner is a Uniontown High School Alumni, and now continues his academics at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. David was a very active student. He played many sports and did this while maintaining good grades. He was a four year member of the soccer team and was also a captain. He also played baseball, basketball, and track along his high school career, but soccer was his main sport. He also played soccer at a club called Riverhounds. The Riverhounds have a semi-pro team in Pittsburgh, and he played for their development team. David is a very good player, and he loved playing soccer so much he now continues his athletics playing for the Gannon Knights Soccer team.

Other than being an athlete David is very smart and he is majoring in Industrial Engineering. He has very good time management between practice and all of his homework and making time for his friends, family, and significant others. Last year with all the online courses it was very hard to keep up with everything, but David did it very well and he is actually taking another year in college since he changed his major for what he originally started with, which was biomedical engineering. Through David’s high school career he kept a 3.75 GPA and above, he still carries the same GPA in college even with the harder classes and sports. He opitimizes the term scholar Athlete.
