What do you remember about your high school graduation?

What I remember most about my high school graduation is Steven Caserly being able to walk for the first time for his graduation and also Dante O’Connell’s long but extremely funny speech.

What do you miss most about high school?

What I miss most about high school is would most likely be the amount of work there is compared to college and miss seeing all my friends.

Are you continuing your education or working, or both? Tell us more about where and what you are doing.

I am currently attending Washington and Jefferson College where I have not yet declared a major. Also I am a member of the football team and I make a little extra money being the basketball’s team manager when football season is over.

Do you feel that high school prepared you for your work now and what has been some surprising things about work/school?

It has some what prepared me for college but I do not think that any high school could fully prepare you for college. The most surprising thing about college is the amount of work there is for every class along with the massive amounts of reading required. Also how easily it is to put on the Freshmen 15.

Are you friends with the same people from high school and have you made new friends?

Yes, I still remain in contact with many of my friends from high school and I have made a lot of new friends in college from being with different sports teams and going out on the weekend. The campus is rather small so before long you will know almost everyone.

Have you seen the completed renovations?

Yes I have and I think the school looks much better, it is just to bad I never got to see it finished while I was still in school since the renovations started my freshman year.

Do you have any words of advice for current students?

For seniors good luck with everything and have fun in college.

For everyone else, start reading as many books as you possibly can because it will benefit you. Also don’t take GPA boosting classes just so you can say you have a high GPA and try to get in a classes that are challenging because those are the classes that will help you in college the most.
